OUR STORY

Established in 2023, SGF UK is a non-profit cultural organisation uniting Igbo professionals in the UK through structured solidarity systems. Governed by our constitution, we serve members aged 30+ with culturally-grounded support, including bereavement assistance, marriage grants, and Igbo heritage education. Our elected leadership team oversees transparent financial systems and mandatory community meetings to ensure accountability. More than just an association, we're a thriving network preserving traditions while creating tangible pathways for member growth - all anchored in our core values of Solidarity, Peace and Progress.
Whether through death benefits, fatherland development projects, or cultural workshops, every initiative fulfills our vision of empowering the Igbo diaspora to thrive professionally while staying rooted in shared heritage.
